YOUR ROLE:

The Sales Development Representative would focus on developing and executing a plan to find prospective customers, map our solution to their needs, build rapport and create a sense of excitement and urgency with the prospect to acquire our solution. This is a high velocity, transactional process to target accounts, qualify buyers, deliver web-based product demonstrations and manage a pipeline of prospective clients. Success in this position would be based on your ability to be creative in your sales engagement style, strategic in your qualification process and focus on closing. This is a high visibility role with a large degree of responsibility and requires regular communication and documentation of your activities.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Identify buying personas at target enterprise clients and market verticals.
  • Build mindshare for Tugboat Logic products through outbound telephone and email prospecting within a given geography or industry verticals
  • Schedule product demo calls between prospects and sales reps or perform demonstrations yourself
  • Convert prospects into sales by creating decision urgency and differentiating from the competition
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested
YOU WOULD BE A GOOD FIT IF:
  • You have 1+ years successful lead generation and/or sales experience
  • You have prior experience selling SaaS or enterprise tools a plus
  • You are a self-motivated, results oriented contributor that can work independently or in a team environment
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills
  • You have working knowledge of sales automation tools like CRM, SDR tools
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are able to clearly and effectively articulate Tugboat Logic’s value via conference call or in person
